• Coordinated the implementation of more than 15 projects of various departments of GRI under the Total Transformation Project (TTKP) of GRI at Karatalaganpatti village in Dindigul District. It is an innovative attempt to create a new Harijan settlement with all basic facilities. This massive project was launched with the construction of 63 low cost houses with electrification, soak pits, smokeless chula, individual household latrines, with people’s participation. Also created facilities like protected drinking water, approach roads and streets with street lights and road side trees. Organized awareness generation programmes on various social issues. Constructed a work shed for starting income generation activities. Promoted community organizations. It was funded by NFRD, New Delhi and CAPART, New Delhi -- 1996-2001.
