a) Courses

• Assisted in Preparing the syllabus for 2 semester Post Diploma in Organic Farming and placed before the Academic Council
• Proposal submitted for a Carrier Orientation Course on "Organic farming and compost preparation" to UGC under Career oriented course programme.
• Assisted in Introducing and preparation of syllabus for the new subjects such as Sustainable Agriculture, Forestry and Wasteland development and Watershed management in Diploma in Agriculture syllabus based on the experience gained from the implementation of the different projects and Extension activities.
• Assisted in preparing syllabus related to Production technologies for fodder production in M.Sc. Dairy Science course – a self financing programme in the year 2002-03.
• Assisted in starting a new Degree Programme on Watershed management to be placed in the ensuing Academic council, as per the suggestion by the UGC.
• One new course on PG Diploma in Participatory Planning and Management of Watershed (Distance mode) is proposed and it will be started during the ensuing Academic year(2010-11).

Visited the works undertaken by the Department of Sericulture under RSVY programme and submitted the reports to the Co-ordinator during 2005-06.

Visited the pilot villages in Thiruchirapalli, Dindigul and Madurai Districts conducted focus group discussion and collected data on water demand besides creating awareness on safe use of drinking as well as irrigation water. Suggested suitable measures for effective utilization of ground water for irrigation, land management and alternative cropping according to the type of soil and climatic conditions in the project locations.

Coordinated the Field staff and visited 23 panchayats for selection of works and compiled data on Demographic and basic amenities. Prepared annual work plan for five years under NREGS for Palani taluk in Dindugal district.

a) Established a Computer labaoratory with internet facility in the Faculty by utilizing the project fund obtained through various Agencies.

a) Assisted with Dean and Farm superintendent of our faculty in developing a field laboratory at C farm and Orchard for the Soil and crop management courses of Diploma in Agriculture and M.Sc.(Dairy Science) programmes.

b) Established a demonstration unit of tillage implements with miniature models such as ploughs, weeders, seed drill etc., at Dairy farm for the benefit of students and farming community.

            I have organized series of training programmes by getting fund from DRDA, DPAP/IWDP in different districts since 2000 to till date and remitted about 16.8 lakhs as Institutional charges which will be useful for carrying out development works in the Institute.

Conducted Midterm Evaluation of DPAP/IWDP watersheds in different Districts of Tamil Nadu and suggested suitable corrective measures for better and smooth conduct of the project activities which was funded by the respective DPAP cells , District Rural Development Agency, in different Districts.
