· As an Expert Member in the Research Advisory Committee of SSA Tamil Nadu and Kerala, contributed for achieving ‘Education for All ‘

· Served as NCERT -National Curriculum Committee Expert (2008) and contributed to the development of National Curriculum Frame work.

· Coordinated the overseas students’ programme under SAARC

· Dean, Faculty of Education (1988 - 1992) served Arunachal University in its Executive Committee, Planning Board, Finance Committee and Academic council to frame rules and regulations and to set up the various academic bodies, evolved a system for quality maintenance and excellence for the university and its affiliated colleges.
· Member ,Programme Advisory Committee of NCERT nominated by MHRD (1988-1991)

· Member ,ERC of NCTe (1993-1996)

· Served in central North- Eastern Hill University at its Mizoram campus in its initial phase from 1980-1988 in the capacity as head of the department of Education and officiated as OSD to set up the campus.

· Formulated the curriculum for undergraduate in environmental studies and organised orientation courses to prepare teachers in the North Eastern states

· Designed Innovative interdisciplinary MPhil Programme in Research and Development and introduced from 1999 onwards in Gandhigram Rural University

· Introduced the Teacher Education programmes, integrated B.Ed and M.Ed programmes in Gandhigram Rural University

· Innovative programmes of PGDiploma in Educational Technology and Applied Research in 2008

· Designed MA program in Development Research and Environment Sustainability and under the UGC Innovative programme
