I . GREEN BEAN SALAD WITH TOMATOES:

 

 

 

Ingredients:

 

Green beans              -1/2 bowl

Tomato                     -1 medium size

Low fat vinaigrette

Salad dressing          - ¼ cup

 

PREPARATION:

 

Steam green beans until tender, cool, place green  beans and tomato on salad plate.  Pour salad dressing over vegetable.

 

RECIPE-II

 

GARLICKY PUFFED RICE:

 

Ingredients:

 

Puffed rice                 -1 1/2cups

Dhalia/ roasted gram  - ½ cup

Red chilli powder      - 1/4tsp

Curry leaves               - 2

Salt                              - to taste

Ghee                           - 1/2 tsp

Garlic                          - 250gm 

 

PREPARATION:

 

v    Warm up the ghee and keep aside.

v    Toast the curry leaves in a shallow pan until its crisp.

v    Peel and grate the garlic into a mixing bowl..

v    Add salt, curry leaves and ghee then mix well.

v    Stir in roasted gram/puffed rice.

v    Toss everything well and serve garlicky puffed rice immediately.
