GRI Research Fellowship (GRI-RF) with a stipend of Rs.8000/- per month is available for Ph.D. scholars who join in the full-time mode, subject to the conditions that not receiving any other fellowship from any funding agency.

Other equivalent National Level Examination recognized by the UGC

Score obtained in the Entrance Test conducted by the Gandhigram Rural Institute (Deemed to be University) for Non-NET candidates
