ACEDAMIC PROGRAMME:
As the branch of Geological Sciences has phenomenally grown after the advent of Geomatics technology and its potentials are to be capitalized deservingly, the Centre has launched Post Graduate Diploma course in Geology and Geomatics (PGDGM) from the Academic year 2012-2013 to start with, and the M.Sc, Applied Geology and Geomatics subsequently.

The Post Graduate Diploma Course is highly innovative and the course content are the Basics of Aerial Remote Sensing, Satellite Remote Sensing, Digital Image Processing, GIS & GPS based mapping and Geodectic Observations on Tectonic movements and the utilization of this technology in the various above said Natural Resources, Ecosystem and Natural Disasters Management.
